First Chinese vaccines against Covid-19 are applied to volunteers

The first five vaccines against Covid-19 developed by the Can Sino Bio laboratory were applied this Monday to volunteers at the Hospital Metropolitan de Monterrey

After the Secretary of Health of the State of launched the call to register volunteers and participate in the test protocol of the vaccine against COVID-19 of the Can Sino Bio laboratory.

This Monday the first five vaccines against Covid-19 were applied; the first dose was used in a 41-year-old woman, who had previously undergone general studies to check her health status and a pregnancy test.

More than 1,740 people have requested to be volunteers in phase 3 of this study, but only 1,000 of them will be able to participate in this process, which will last 13 months. The protocol will enter patients into the study for three months, there will be a 12-month follow-up, monitoring will be via telephone and one or two face-to-face visits to take antibody samples.

The study will last for 13 months, a period in which the participants will be evaluated and monitored by specialized doctors, the agency reported.
