Can I Use PayPal in Bangladesh?

 

PayPal is one of the most widely used online payment platforms globally, providing users with a convenient and secure way to transfer money, make purchases, and receive payments. However, the availability and functionality of PayPal vary from country to country. 

For individuals and businesses in Bangladesh, the question of whether PayPal can be used has been a topic of considerable interest and discussion.

Bangladesh Has Now Surpassed India in Per Capita Income

In the fiscal year 2020-21, Bangladesh has surpassed the neighboring country India in terms of per capita income. According to the recent Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, Bangladesh's per capita income has risen to ২ 2,228. In Bangladeshi currency it is 1 lakh 8 thousand 63 rupees per year.

On the other hand, a report in the Indian media Indian Express states that India's per capita income is ৯ 1,946. In Bangladeshi currency which is 1 lakh 75 thousand 160 rupees, which is 270 dollars less than Bangladesh. In other words, a citizen of Bangladesh earns 23 thousand 753 rupees more than a citizen of India.
